Derision Cult was founded in Chicago by Dave McAnally. After returning to music with a clearer sense of direction, the project developed into a collision of industrial rock, metal, programmed rhythm, and atmospheric texture.
The current lineup includes Sean Payne on synths and programming, Brad Huston on guitar and additional programming, Jesse Hunt on drums, and Dave on vocals and guitar.
Signed to Glitch Mode Recordings since 2021, Derision Cult has worked with Chris Connelly, Martin Atkins, Stabbing Westward, Cyanotic, and other artists across the industrial underground.
